What you can use the scholarship for
Scholarships are awarded as a contribution towards the cost of undertaking the course of study, e.g. course tuition fees.
Applicants must have successfully completed at least 25% (or equivalent) of an accredited course to be eligible, therefore they will have incurred costs associated with the course.
What's not included
The scholarship will not cover all costs associated with a course of study.
How often you can apply
If your application is unsuccessful in 2022 you can reapply in 2023 and subsequent years.
You must meet the eligibility criteria.
If you are awarded a scholarship you:
- can't apply for another scholarship for the same course of study
- are excluded from applying for another scholarship for 3 years.

Documents you will need
You must provide the following documents.
The documents must be in a format that clearly shows all of the required information.
Failure to provide the required documentation/information by the closing date will deem the application ineligible.
Confirmation of enrolment
This must be an official confirmation of enrolment showing your current enrolment. It must include:
- education provider’s letterhead/branding
- your name and student identification number
- course name
- subjects/units enrolled in current year and subject/unit weighting values.
Statement of results/academic transcript
This must be an official statement of results or academic transcript showing evidence of your successful completion of 25% (or equivalent) of the course. It must include:
- education provider’s letterhead/branding
- your name and student identification number
- course name
- subjects/units enrolled in current year and subject/unit weighting values.
Statutory declaration
Use the statutory declaration to include details of any funding you have received from other sources for the course of study.
If you are receiving funding from any other sources please complete statutory declaration 1 - funding from other sources DOCX (17.6 KB).
If you are not receiving funding from any other sources please complete statutory declaration 2 - no other funding source DOCX (17.4 KB).
Manager's declaration
Get your manager to complete the managers declaration DOCX (61.9 KB). Your manager needs to include that they:
- support your course of study
- confirm your course of study is relevant to your role and aligns with work unit/health service needs.
Your manager must also provide details of any funding you have received from other NT Health sources.
