Management of placements
The following placements are managed outside of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Office:
- Medical placements:
- Contact the NT Medical Program at Flinders University
- Defence placements:
- Contact the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre by emailing admin.ncctrc@nt.gov.au or calling (08) 8944 8361
- Work experience placements for secondary school students:
- Contact Human Resource Management by emailing AWD.DoH@nt.gov.au or calling (08) 8922 7099
For all other placements, including the below, contact the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Office
- government agencies seeking secondment or placement for qualified but non-practicing employees
- a period of supervised practice required by a professional registration board for registered practitioners with limited or provisional registration
- competency assessment programs sought by overseas trained health professionals
- chaplains.
