Management of agreements
To secure a NT Health Student Placement Agreement, the Education Provider (Clinical Placement Coordinator) is required to contact the Office of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer by:

Management of placements
To request a placement, contact the relevant area:
- Nursing and Midwifery placements:
- Contact Clinical Learning Education & Research Service (CLEaRS) by emailing ClinicalPlacementCLEaRS.DoH@nt.gov.au
- Allied Health placements:
- Contact Clinical Learning Education & Research Service (CLEaRS) by emailing ClinicalPlacementCLEaRS.DoH@nt.gov.au
- Medical placements:
- Contact the Northern Territory Medical Program student placement coordinator on 08 8920 0200 or email ntmp.clinical@flinders.edu.au.
- Defence placements:
- Contact Clinical Learning Education & Research Service (CLEaRS) by emailing ClinicalPlacementCLEaRS.DoH@nt.gov.au.
- Secondary school placements (work experience):
- Non-hospital based placements

- Non-hospital based placements
For all other placements, including the below, contact the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Office
- government agencies seeking secondment or placement for qualified but non-practicing employees
- a period of supervised practice required by a professional registration board for registered practitioners with limited or provisional registration
- competency assessment programs sought by overseas trained health professionals
- chaplains.
