Student Placements
Allied health student placements are offered by NT Health. Placements in the NT provide allied health students the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of unique learning experiences and bring a greater understanding of the NT context for health care including tropical diseases, virtual care and Aboriginal health. Many students who undertake placement in the Territory return to be long term employees.
Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) (previously known as The Remote and Rural Interprofessional Placement Learning NT (RIPPL NT), administered by Flinders UDRH, NT) program supports students from any university or health related course to complete their placement in the NT. They provide services including placement planning, financial assistance, networking sessions, cultural workshops and escape rooms for education.
