Criminal history check and working with children
If you're offered employment you will need to submit a national criminal history check and a working with children clearance (WWCC), also called an Ochre Card, at your own expense.
A Criminal History Check (CHC) is a check of a person’s criminal history undertaken by the Northern Territory Police or an Australian State/Territory Police Service in the form of a National Police Certificate (NPC).
National police checks (NPC) issued by third party providers (such as Fit2Work, Healthoutcomes Australia and National Crim Check) are not accepted.
To apply for a NPC and WWCC, go to the Safe NT Online services website
