Nominations are open for the 2025 Northern Territory Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker and Practitioner Excellence Awards.

The awards recognise and acknowledge the significant contribution Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers and practitioners make to their families, communities and the healthcare system across the Northern Territory.

Rus Nasir, Acting Executive Director Aboriginal Health, Engagement and Workforce said Aboriginal health workers and practitioners are central to delivering culturally responsive and safe care across the Northern Territory.
