In recent years an increasing proportion of NT Health research has been conducted in collaboration with staff from other organisations.
The Department is a core partner that collaborates in a range of research projects with Cooperative Research Centre for Aboriginal and Tropical Health (CRCATH). Other partners are the Menzies School of Health Research, Charles Darwin University, Flinders University of South Australia, Danila Dilba Medical Services, Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, Baker Institute, and Central Australia Academic Health Science Network. Much of the departmental research effort involves work with one or more partners from this group.
In addition, NT Health is increasingly committed to exploring opportunities to collaborate with other organisations at a national level.
All collaborative research projects require authorisation from the relevant Chief Operating Officer (COO) or the Chief Executive, NT Health.
Researchers wishing to explore potential collaborations are advised to contact the Northern Territory Health Clinical Trials Coordination Unit for information about the authorisation process.
