Diamond Princess evacuee update

A 61-year-old woman from New South Wales is being transferred today from Howard Springs Quarantine Facility to Royal Darwin Hospital for investigation of a cardiac condition.

She will remain in isolation during her admission and be tested as a matter of process for COVID-19 infection.

The man transferred to RDH yesterday remains in isolation in hospital. He tested negative for COVID-19 but is continuing to receive treatment for a pre-existing chronic condition.

There is one person in isolation at Howard Springs following today’s screening undergoing testing this afternoon for COVID-19 infection.
