Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases among the Diamond Princess evacuees in Howard Springs remains at seven, with tests yesterday returning negative results.

Two people were tested on Sunday 23 February after daily screenings showed they had mild respiratory symptoms.

Per procedure, they were isolated from the rest of their group until test results were returned late yesterday evening.

The evacuees in Howard Springs undergo daily screenings for any signs they are unwell, and will continue to be screened every day throughout their quarantine period.
