Community consultation: RAAF base Darwin PFAS investigation

The Department of Defence is holding a Community Walk-in Session at Charles Darwin University and opening a Community Stand at Casuarina Square to provide information on the environmental investigation into per- and poly- fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at RAAF Base Darwin and nearby areas.

Members of the investigation team as well as representatives from Defence and other government agencies will be available to provide an investigation update or to answer more targets questions about the Ecological Risk Assessment Report and to discuss the Supplementary Detailed Site Investigation and PFAS Management Area Plan.

Community Walk-in Session:

Date: Monday 5 November
Venue: Charles Darwin University, Room Blue 2A University Drive East, Casuarina
Time: 3.00pm to 7.00pm

Date: Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 November
Venue: Stand located near Priceline Pharmacy Casuarina Square, Trower Road, Casuarina
Time: Visit anytime between 9.00am and 5.30pm
