About Top End Health Service
The Strategic Executive develops and manages the business operations of the Top End Health Service (TEHS).
The executive works closely with the TEHS Board to deliver a health service that is tailored to the needs of people in the Top End.
The Strategic Executive has the following roles:
- build on operational effectiveness
- formulate budget policy and promote financial integrity
- oversee the allocation and utilisation of TEHS resources
- promote management controls
- manage administrative support offices
- oversee the TEHS information technology upgrade process, the Core Clinical System Renewal Program (CCSRP).
Its core goal is to deliver responsive, effective and efficient health services with a focus on consistently providing high quality, patient-centred care and getting the best value for every health dollar spent.
