Training and education for nurses and midwives


The Northern Territory Department of Health has a number of programs and scholarships available to help nurses and midwives.

Training and education opportunities include:

  • for registered nurses and midwives, the employed model program provides paid employment in the Territory, while you undertake two-year, part-time study through Charles Darwin University (CDU).
  • For nurses and midwives, the new Nursing and Midwifery Scholarship could help you pay for your studies.
