Health Assessments
- Blood pressure readings, blood sugar levels and weight checks plus education to help prevent health issues.
Hearing Services
- A wide range of services for hearing, including assessments and support for people with hearing impairments.
Home Birthing Services & Postnatal Home Visits
- Support for eligible women wishing to give birth at home. Midwives and a multidisciplinary team provide professional care across pregnancy and the postpartum period.
- Physical checks of mother and baby after early discharge from hospital. Support, education and information on issues ranging from breastfeeding to family relationships.

Well baby assessments and clinics
- Regular check-ups for babies are provided, along with parenting information such as breastfeeding, nutrition and safety. Workshops and Groups, such as Meet Other Parents also available.

Discharge Planning Resource Unit
- Nurses at Royal Darwin Hospital coordinate discharge requirements for clients with complex needs, referring to agencies, liaising with support agencies.
Immunisation for Children and Adults
- For information on school immunisations and to see whether you are eligible to some of the free vaccinations that are available to certain adult groups.

School Health
- Nurses provide assessment, referral, treatment and counselling for high school and primary students in urban areas. Education, health promotion and immunisation programs are provided within the school community.
Social workers
- Assessment and counselling for individuals and families, linking clients to other agencies and helping with developing support groups for special needs.
Well Women's Cancer Screening
- This program was established in 1994 to implement the National Cervical Screening Program and BreastScreen Australia in the NT.
