The precautionary advice for swimming at Lee Point Beach has been lifted after test results showed greatly improved water quality with significantly reduced bacteria levels which pose minimal risk to public health.
Routine weekly sampling by the Department of Natural Resources, Environment, The Arts and Sport (NRETAS) will continue for Darwin Harbour beaches and the public will be kept informed of any changes to the situation.
