The Northern Territory Government is committed to ensuring all Territorians enjoy health and well being, and that the Northern Territory has a health system that is responsive, accountable and effective. The Health Advisory Council provides independent advice to the Minister for Health on issues and strategies to advance these objectives.
The Council is comprised of health professionals, both individual members and nominees of health organisations, who are committed to improving health services across the Northern Territory.
The Health Advisory Council combines the insights and knowledge of consumers through the expertise of service providers and health professionals to enhance the health of all Territorians, and to build a better health system.
